Apple seeded the first iOS 12.1 beta to developers on Tuesday morning just a day after releasing iOS 12.0 globally.
The first beta for iOS 12.1 weighs in at over 2.75 GB on the iPhone X and brings back a major feature that Apple removed last month: Group FaceTime. Apple said Group FaceTime would be returning in a future software update and it appears that update will be iOS 12.1.
The changelog section below will be updated when any additional changes are discovered.
Tech news site The Verifier reports that iOS 12.1 will launch sometime in November for everyone.
